Tajmahal is the most beautiful monument in the world and also comes in the seven wonders of the world.Tajmahal was built by mughal emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj mahal that's why Tajmahal is also known as the love monument.

1. It took 22 years to build Tajmahal from 1631 to1653 and about 22 thousand labourers work.

2. The most amazing fact about Taj is that only the tomb made in 15 years .

3. The fountain infront of Taj start watering with same time without any mechanism .It's very interesting no. They all work at a same time because the copper water tank is placed under the fountains when the water full in tank it pressurized and they all start watering at the same time.

4. Taj is made up of 28 precious and valuable stones such as LAPISLAZULI 'SAFFIRE and many more stones that was imported from afganistan and from another countries.

5. Tajmahal is made of white marble (makrana marble) .

6. The four towers of tajmahal were made in such a way that if any natural calaminities occurs like earthquake,hurricane, etc. it does not harm the main monument .

7. There is a hole in the ceiling of Tajmahal and water droplets come down from the hole and the hole does not find yet.

Why Tajmahal is made at the bank of river Yamuna

Do you ever think why Tajmahal is build at the bank of river Yamuna ??  Because SHAHJAHAN wanted that when he wake up in the morning the first thing he see is the TAJMAHAL from his fort  that's why Taj was made there.

This is because the Taj is white and if lights are fitted in the monument  the light get reflected due to white colour and start attracting the insects and the insects starts destoying  the monument and causes big lose to the monument. And some people says that there are some energies that are protecting the Taj and if someone tries to fit light in Taj the bulb get fused or burst .

Shahjahan and his wife burried in the basement of Tajmahal. Many people say that  the  Taj Mahal have secrets rooms in the basement ,and it might have huge treasure in the basement but the basement does not open because expert says if government open it it can affect the strogness of Taj that's  why it does not open till now.  All the people see taj from its back side but the front view is on the other side from where Shahjahan see taj from his fort.

 THE DARK SIDE OF LOVE  OF SHAHJAHAN

1. Shahjahan saw the Mumtaj and goes love with her in his first sight in mina bajar .When he asked about this lady from his ministers, the minister replied that the lady got married but Shahjahan said I want her at anyhow. Then  Shahjahan killed the husband of Mumtaj and got married with Mumtaj. She  was his 4th wife and Mumtaj gave birth to 14 children and died while gaving the birth to 14th child due to high pain of giving birth. He loved so much to  Mumtaj that's  why he build TAJMAHAL in the memory.

2.After the death of the Mumtaj ,he married with her second sister and he have almost 14 to15 wives it's only official data not true' in reality he have so much number of wives.

Shahjahan son Aurangeb put his father in the cage because he had spent lots of treasury in the making of Tajmahal and he wishes to for making black Tajmahal for him infront of whiteone.When he placed his father in the cage ;his father wishes that he would live in the cage if he saw the taj everyday from his cage.

Was Tajmahal a hindu temple

According to many people in India they believe that there was a Hindu temple of lord shiva named Tejomahalaya and Shahjahan destroy the temple and built Tajmahal there but the true fact is that there are yet no researches that prove that, there was hindu temple or a mosque .And if we want to know that there was temple we would have to go in the mysterious basement of Tajmahal and have to research .But expert suggest it can affects the building that's why there are no researches till date.If once  research takes place it proves the reality.

Had Shahjahan cut the hands of architects :

It was a myth that Shahjahan cuts the hands of architects ,Shahjahan didnot cut the hands of architects but he said to them that they will not do work in the future and for this he pays them monthly pension.
